Raymond Santopietro started Focus Internet Services ten years ago as RJ Consolidated Projects, an internet based group of businesses designed to provide customers with knowledge, advice and services appropriate for their business. A fifteen year veteran of internet advertsing and general marketing, Ray has worked within some of the most respected advertising agencies in Nevada, heading departments that crafted unique internet marketing strategies, designed award-winning websites and online games, and created email marketing programs for some of the largest clients in the country. A firm believer that "if it doesn't make dollars it doesn't make sense" Ray found himself frustrated by the lack of accountability many advertising agencies employ, basing their value on creativity and artistic production alone. While these are important, Ray believes that marketing for business ultimately must be able to pay for itself or it is wasted, and the feeling that agencies do not put this thought process into their campaign development brought about the creation of Focus Internet Services. "Focus was designed to put the needs of the customer first, and not to sell them our specialty. Many internet agencies sell wnat they are good at, even though it might not be in the best interest of the client. Some sell flash websites to ecommerce customers, knowing full well of the issues regarding indexing of flash. Some sell design as the core of email marketing, ignoring the deliverability issues with image-heavy blasts. Focus analyzes the needs first, and designes campaigns to reflect solutions to problems and achieving goals, not just what we are selling at the moment as our specialty. We are a strategic marketing firm first and foremost, and an SEO firm as a component of that."
